Our Jobs pillar focuses on workforce development, employment pathways, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity. We work to connect individuals with the skills, networks, and opportunities needed to achieve self-sufficiency. Meaningful work does more than provide income. It creates dignity, purpose, and a pathway toward independence.

Even with housing and employment, people often face barriers that can threaten long-term success. Supportive services help individuals navigate challenges related to health, family stability, veteran transition, trauma recovery, financial literacy, transportation, and other factors that affect quality of life. Our Care pillar is designed to help individuals maintain momentum, overcome obstacles, and build lasting resilience.

K9 programs create benefits that extend beyond traditional service models. Home Base USA's K9 initiatives include service dog training and placement, search and rescue, scent-discrimination services, safety sweeps, and the development of future K9 handlers and trainers, many of whom are veterans or former first responders. K9 programs can improve both individual outcomes and community resilience. K9 partnerships can help people heal, assist communities during emergencies, enhance public safety efforts, and create unique pathways for training, employment, and community engagement.
